The story
Built in 1892 for Irish-born foundry owner William Kehoe, this Renaissance Revival mansion on Columbia Square operates as a luxury inn with a devoted reputation as one of Savannah's most haunted properties. Kehoe reportedly had ten children, at least two of whom died in the house, and staff and guests describe the sounds of children running on the upper floors and a child's hand felt tugging at clothing near the main staircase. The carriage house behind the property is considered by paranormal investigators to be particularly active.
