The story

Built between 1865 and 1881 for German immigrant Hannes Tiedemann, this Romanesque Revival house was the scene of multiple family deaths including several of Tiedemann's children within a short period. Hidden rooms and passageways discovered during later renovations added to the mystery, and one sealed room reportedly contained human bones. Subsequent owners report doors slamming in empty wings, children's laughter on the upper floors and cold spots that appear without explanation.
